The battle of the web browsers continue, but Mozilla has just dropped their latest update called Firefox Quantum… and it’s arguably the fastest browser out.
While we’ve tested the new browser and it does appear to be faster than the popular Google Chrome browser, we don’t have specifics. However, in the video above, Mozilla itself breaks it down.
According to Mashable, a test conducted with the open-source project WebPageTest concluded that Firefox Quantum loaded a number of top websites before Chrome. It also uses around 30% less memory than others, including Chrome, Edge, and Safari on Windows operating systems, while using just a tad bit more than Chrome on macOS.
If you’d like to try it for yourself, head over to Mozilla.org to give it a spin.
